Standing Stone Coffee

How do you like your coffee?
In the winter: A nice single origin brew with just a hint of sugar
In the summer: An Iced Americano, light on the water

Current Favorite SSCC Food and Drink:
The Tuscan Beef panini on the Winter menu and my own made up mocha, a light mix of white chocolate, dark chocolate and vanilla

Favorite Music/Band:
When my brain is full, jazz or classical is best. When I'm looking for inspiration I turn to U2, Dave Matthews, Led Zepplin or Sara Groves

I'm co-owner of Standing Stone Coffee Company with my wife Jessie. I have quite the varied background: studied computer science and graphic design at Juniata College, went into campus ministry with CCO for 8 years at Penn State and Messiah College. While doing that I got a Masters in Higher Education and fell in love with college students and the communities where colleges are located.

While at Messiah College I oversaw national and international service and mission projects and worked heavily in the field of Service Learning. I've love to travel, having been to 48 of our 50 states, and 27 countries. I've seen many things, met incredible people, and have come to have a deep desire to work towards healing in the world. That's where the coffee shop comes in. We can't think of a better way to help people reconnect than through a local gathering place that helps connect you to the broader world.

When I'm not at the shop (which is a lot of the time), I'm usually with Jessie taking our dog, Chase, for a walk. I love adventure sports and being in the woods. What a perfect fit when living in Huntingdon!
